A couple was enjoying an evening at White Rock Lake when a young girl in a white dress, dripping wet approached them. She explained there had been a boating accident and she needed a ride home. The girl climbed into the backseat and gave the couple an Oak Cliff address. When they arrived they turned to the backseat and the girl was gone; only a wet spot on the seat remained. The couple decided to ring the doorbell. When a man answered the door they told him about the young girl. He looked amazed and explained his daughter had died in a boating accident on White Rock Lake several weeks earlier.
