Lakewood Candle Company was conceived in 2007 as a creative outlet for founder Wendy Millsap.  While seeking a medium to express creative energy Wendy started making candles.  With a background in graphic design and marketing the idea of creating custom packaged candles came to life. 

The company acquired several clients including corporate customers, brides and families seeking unique gifts.  Today, we are proud to continue to work with customers to create custom packaging to promote people, companies, fundraisers and special occasions. 

The company has grown to include two retail lines; Apothecary and Heritage.  Both lines are available for sale at boutique gift and home decor shops.  Apothecary is a collection of candles uniquely named for its sensory triggers and/or aroma associations. 

The stately Heritage collection showcases custom blended aromas uniquely wrapped in history including a history story, a coaster and a book of matches.  Heritage fragrances were carefully selected and blended to compliment details associated with each namesake.

Lakewood Candle Company is proud to offer fundraising programs to support non-profit and community/youth enhancement programs.  Through our online fundraising programs organizations are able to raise money using today’s digital media making their efforts seamless and efficient. 

The creative fires of Lakewood Candle Company continue to burn and are fueled by the passion of product development and customer satisfaction. We have grown from creative desire to a candle making passion.
